Activity Overview
At the start of the Africa Climate Summit, Lake Region Side Event, Kisumu 2023, we partnered with The Lake Basin Development Authority (LBDA), the host partner; who facilitated a Walk & Talk Program. An actual walk and cycle event was flagged off at the Best Western Hotel, Kisumu, which lies within the LBDA premises. The walk was an ice breaker for the delegates to kickstart the 3-day conference on a healthy note.
The walk was focused within the CBD of Kisumu as well as Maseno University area while the Cycling event took place from Kisumu to Nairobi, with wellness breaks in between. This focused on physical fitness for mental resilience.

Walk Overview
COVID-19 Presented alot of mental and physical stress related challenges. As Go Beyond Limited, we sponsored the first walking for mental wellness activity, and the first ever of its kind in Kenya, by the time. This was done under the COVID 19 restrictions and the participation was locked below 100 people. It had a resounding success.
